A mess

Not near enough hot water for even a shower Pool was supposed to be heated it was freezing Pond was not usable Air did not keep house cool at all We all got co2 posining and had to have fire and ambulance come

Lovely home

I recommend staying for more than 2 nights. Our time was too short to enjoy the property fully and do everything available! It was a very nice place for a group of adults. I'd never bring kids though - too many nice decorations, breakable things, and items everywhere. Put together but cluttered might be a way to describe? The property was beautiful, the house was lovely and Iveth was great! She offered us a discount when she wasn't sure the attic AC would hold out in the summer (it did just fine it was a relatively cool weekend). I gave 4 stars because I had hoped it would be cleaner (really dusty and a bit greasy in places) and I would have hoped for some better information in the property description. For example, there is a grill (which I asked about), but it is only big enough for 4 burgers and we were cooking for 16. There was a broken oven. There's no drinking glasses unless you want to use the hand wash only dishes or coffee mugs. The dining table is like... Two tall benches put together with a large gap down the center which made playing games really hard and eating awkward at times. Chairs were rickety and really old. None of this was bad, the place was lovely, we just would have planned differently had we known. (And would have expected it to be a bit more clean).

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed being able to stay all in one location with each other. The property could use some updating (EX. silverware, lighting, etc.).
