Termignon is a relatively undiscovered area. It's small and friendly, near to the Italian border. Compared to other alpine towns, great value for money. The skiing is uncrowded. The spectacular mountains are just the place to find peace and quiet if that is what you want. There is enough locally to keep everyone happy. The ski area includes Termignon, Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard, each with its own area but all linked together.
Unlike the custom built ski flats that each area has, our apartment is in the middle of the village whilst the ski slopes are only 6 or 7 minutes walk away.
Typically on Thursday evening, we stroll up to the slopes to watch the weekly 'descent au flambeaux' Torchlight skiing and have a hot wine or chocolate and a bit of cheese before walking back to the flat via a bar or two!
