Our house is located in a cul de sac with spectacular views of harbour, coastline, mountains, golden sandy beaches and overlooking 2 championship golf courses, the older of which hosted the 2004 Spanish Open. This well furnished house is only 25 meters from the communal pool and children's pool. It is located a short walk from the resort of Calete de Fustes. You can dine al fresco on the upstairs patio, relax and sunbathe on the solarium and breakfast downstairs in the all year round sunshine. The house has recently had IPTV installed with 60+ UK and Irish TV Stations and also has an always on wireless access point allowing multiple free connections to the Internet.
Local help and support: Our property manager Pam lives nearby and is always available for your queries and offer an excellent service. She will meet you at the house with the keys and explain all the workings of the property. All bedlinen and towels are provided including beach towels and a hair-dryer. Changes of bedlinen are left out for stays of 2 weeks or longer. if you wish to have the linen changes done for you or to have extra cleaning this can be arranged and paid for locally with Pam.
Tourist attractions: There is plenty to see and do for all ages. The following are just some of the attractions available:-
the wildlife park La Lajita is a must for all the family and has wonderful sea lion, reptile, birds of prey and parrot shows and a camel safari; the dunes south of Corralejo; the stunning beaches at Costa Calma, El Cotillo and Morro Jable; the caves at Ajuy; island of Los Lobos; day trips to Lanzarote; camel rides on the beautiful beaches; catamaran trips to view dolphins and whales; world surfing championships in July each year on Sotavento Beach; beaches and spectacular coastline of Jandia; BAKU water park in Corralejo; visit to Las Rotondas in Puerte del Rosario which has 70 shops including Zara, Massimo Dutti; Spa Balnearia in Calete where you can treat yourself to a day of pampering for as little as GBP 13.
Travel and tours: Car hire is recommended if you wish to tour the island. However, taxi are reliable, plentiful and can be hired at a relatively low cost. Excellent bus and boat tours are available to the major sights on the island and also to Lanzarote. We can recommend car hire firms if requested. Cars can be hired from as little as GBP 70 per week. We would recommend air conditioning.
Bus travel is also efficient and inexpensive and a round trip from Calate to Las Rotondos will cost approximately GBP 2.
