Sleeps 2/4. This recently refurbished and superbly located 1 bedroom ground floor apartment has direct access to the beach. It also benefits from a private patio, and wonderful views across the bay, parking at the rear and is very close to all local amenities. The apartment has a TV, DVD, wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, etc.

The property offers 1 double bed + 1 double sofa bed to reach 4 people capacity. Rates advertised are for 2 adults + 1 child (under 12 years old). Extra guest can be accomodated at an additional rate.

Enjoy the sea views from this lovely terraced apartment. Pets considered.

Not Impressed!

The booking process was a bit of a pain. I had to call to pay a deposit. The rest of the payment was only in cash which is not ideal. I tried ringing several times to pay the deposit but no answer. After 3 days they finally contacted me back.

I didn't realise until I had paid the deposit that I had to retrieve and return the keys from their office a few miles from the airport. Normally you would have a representative meet you either at the airport or apartment to give you keys.

This added a considerable amount to the cost of my 5 day break to see my daughter who works there. Normally I would have got an £8 shuttle bus to the resort and back again but I had to pay 35 Euros for a taxi transfer from airport via the office there and back so 70 Euros added to the price of my (cheap)break.

The Address for the apartment is somewhat obscure but luckily I know the area so didn't have much trouble finding it. It would have been useful however to have been told that the entrance was around the front from ground floor.

The shutters and doors to the apartment were not at all secure. Just a mortice lock on the door and very dodgy bolts!

The apartment was clean but much smaller than it looked in the photos. It would be ok for a couple, maybe with a baby but no more than that.

It is more like a studio apartment, it reminded me of a beach chalet.

There was no iron or sunbeds or barbecue as advertised.

I wasn't really bothered about the bbq or iron but I did want a sunbed! After ringing the agency a few times over the first couple of days.....no answer...answer machine and no call back. This is supposedly a 24 hour emergency service!!

As I was staying opposite my daughter's apartment she brought me a sunbed so that was that.

The hedge that you see in front of the apartment does not exist anymore. There is just a wall.

What they fail to admit is that the apartment is right opposite the main jetty where the pleasure boats depart/arrive from, so don't be surprised to have quite a few tourists sitting on the wall waiting for the boat whilst you're having your morning coffee!!

It was quite amusing to see all the drunks coming off the booze cruise at around 8pm, but if you're after total peace and quiet forget it!

The apartment itself is adequate for a short break if very small. It could be much better with just a bit more care. Wouldn't use again due to appalling booking service but love Santa Ponsa!!
