El apartamento está situado en el centro de Barcelona. Justo cruzando la calle Trafalgar se encontrará en el barrio del Born (la zona más bonita y más de moda de la Ciudad Vieja). Las más importantes de interés turístico de Barcelona están a pocos pasos.

Este bonito apartamento es sólo un minuto a pie del famoso Palau de la Música Catalana (Palacio de la música modernista catalán) y de la céntrica Plaza Catalunya. A tan sólo 2 minutos a pie de la Catedral y el mercado orgánico de Santa Caterina donde puedes conseguir provisiones frescas o al Paseo de Gracia, donde se encuentran las casas de Gaudí (Casa Batlló y la Pedrera). Cinco minutos a pie de Santa María del Mar, el Museo Picasso o Las Ramblas (donde se puede encontrar el mercado de la Boquería el Liceo y el Palau Güell). A sólo 7 minutos del puerto viejo de Barcelona.

El apartamento tiene 3 dormitorios y 3 baños con una bonita sala de estar. Sin embargo, se puede configurar como un cuarto de baño 2 dormitorio 3 (en esa configuración cada habitación tiene su propia sala de estar privada con sofá y televisión).

Un arquitecto muy sensible ha renovado este apartamento de lujo de la más alta calidad. Sus suelos de madera maciza, las increíbles baños de diseño, el mobiliario restaurado del siglo XIX antiguos, vigas de madera y paredes de ladrillo. Hemos reformado este apartamento como la suite senior mayor lujo de un hotel de cinco estrellas. Nada ha sido dejado aparte. Hemos mantenido las características arquitectónicas agradables tales como techos altos, vigas de madera y paredes de piedra esto hace que este apartamento muy especial. Cuenta con una cocina completa con una isla central y una mesa con capacidad para 6 a 8 personas. Podemos organizar un chef para cocinar sus comidas por encargo. Si usted está cocinando en la plana se encuentran todos los utensilios y electrodomésticos para cocinar como un chef.

Cada uno de los 3 tres dormitorios tiene su propio cuarto de baño de diseño con ducha de ancho y grandes y bonitos muebles de lavabo lavado de manos. Hay detalles como el cristal magnético que nos instalamos en una de las duchas (pulsando un botón usted puede cambiar el cristal de transparente a opaco). Nos ocupamos de la calidad y el confort en este apartamento. Todas las camas tienen colchones viscoelásticos y ropa de cama de alta calidad (hecha de percal de algodón). Ofrecemos Chortex Toallas de primera calidad procedentes de Inglaterra.

Dos dormitorios tienen camas queen size y el otro dormitorio tiene un sofá cama de espuma de memoria de muy alta calidad (de matrimonio). Hay espacio adicional para dormir en el sofá-cama de espuma de memoria en la sala de estar.

El piso tiene una terraza al aire libre con una mesa y sillas para sentarse fuera.

El piso se sienta en el tercer piso de un edificio de estilo Art Nouveau con un ascensor que sirve el apartamento.

Este apartamento hará la diferencia en su estancia en Barcelona. Me transformé una frase que una vez roja en El Raffles Hotel en Singapur: "Si bien en el apartamento de la vendimia, por qué no visitar Barcelona?"

great place great location

We really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived until the day we left all was wonderful. There were 3 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room. Beds comfortable, showers great and location the best. The apartment is located within easy walking distance to all sights. Miguel and Eddie were great. I highly suggest the Foodie tour with Regina, she is delightful and extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of food and history of the city. Hooks are needed in the bathrooms for towels and a good coffee maker but other then that excellent stay!

Great location

This flat is in a great location in the heart of Barcelona. We were a group of 4 (2 couples) and It's a great layout for 2 couples as the layout has 2 master suites. It would be tight for any more than 4 people. The Wifi was good, the building was secure. Eddie met us on arrival and was very personal and helpful, walking us through the layout and features and leaving us with his phone number for any problems, which we did not have. My biggest complaint is with the lack of any towel racks in the second bathroom off the blue room, which my husband and I used. There are no towel racks for drying towels after a shower. Our 2 towels never dried properly without a towel rack, becoming mildewed by midweek. It was annoying and could easily be solved with towel racks! I hope that Manuel will add 2 towel racks.

Respuesta del propietario: Thanks a lot for your nice comment. We work hard to improve with the comments of our guest. We have bought 2 towel racks at the flat so there is no issue drying the towels. Regarding the size of the flat we offer a 3 bedroom apartment. The flat is perfect for 6 people though it can be occupied up to 8 adults. The 3 bedrooms are big and the living and dinning area seats 6 people. The flat location can't be more central. Less than 5 min on foot to the major sightseeing's of Barcelona. Plus its a fully licensed apartment. We really look forward to seeing you again in Barcelona. Thanks again for choosing us

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!

We arrived in Barcelona early in the morning after at 10 day Med Cruise. We were able to meet Eddie at the apartment who was waiting for us when we arrive. As we had a lot of luggage (6 people for a 17 day vacation), we had to send our luggage up a little at a time. The elevator was very small, but we are pretty used to European lifts. It was actually pretty funny and we always love these types of adventures. The apartment is just a short walk from the Gothic quarter, which is our preferred placed to stay in Barcelona. The Apartment is very tastefully decorated and we had everything we needed. We purchased food at a nearby convenience store. We didn't cook, but we could have as pots, pans and dishware was available. We made coffee with the coffee provided and it was delicious. We have stayed in an apartment owned by Miguel and his son in the past, actually just a few blocks away and we will probably stay again in an apartment owned by this family because of the ease of communication and hospitality and professionalism. I am hoping to return to Barcelona some day as it really is one of my favorite European Cities.

Great apartment

We returned from a stay in your apartment recently. It was more than we expected. I don't think we could have had a more convenient location for sightseeing and shopping. Everything was much closer than we thought. The apartment was very tastefully appointed and spotless. Miquel was there to meet us upon our arrival and helped explain the workings of everything in the apartment. I was especially happy to see a washing machine. We were coming from a three day stay in New York and a 12 night East Med cruise. I would sit and study the apartment walls and woodwork and just try to imagine some of the history behind it. I have told by friends that Barcelona is a beautiful city, now I can agree with them. If I'm fortunate to return to Barcelona, I will plan my trip around the availability of this apartment so I can stay there again. Miguel, I want to thank you again for the informative walking tour that you provided for us. You definately know your history of the city. Your english is excellent, by the way.

The best in Barcelona

The position, the appointments, the entertainment, personal touches, personal service and absolute professional presentation!! Tour buses, taxi, metro, fresh feast market (Mercat de Santa Caterina), amazing restaurants.....all within a 2 minute walk from the doorstep of this beautiful apartment. Many of the "absolute must see" sites of Barcelona are within walking distance. The position of this apartment couldn't be more perfect. The interior is completely renovated to the highest standard with incredible historic elements. After a full day of blister paced touring, the private balcony was heaven! Meeting Miguel was a pleasure (the owner Miguel's father), he was charming and informative. He took much time in making sure we were acquainted with the functions of the apartment and gave a great history lesson upon arrival (he was waiting as we crossed the street to the apartment and greeted us with no delay). We took the "old town + art nouveau" tour with Miguel. We highly recommend this tour as Miguel is completely versed in the history of Barcelona and will take you back to Roman times and then fast forward you through history to present day art and architecture. Miguel and his family made us fall in love with the culture, the people and the history of this community. The apartment is well appointed and well furnished. It was lovely to walk into such elegance and style after a long journey and feel all the comforts of home . The rooms were spacious. So lovely, so comfortable and Miguel at our fingertips via text or phone, should we need assistance. Response time for all communications was within seconds, again, very comforting. A professional family operation without a doubt. We have travelled extensively renting apartments in France, Italy, northern and southern Spain and for sure Miguel and his family rank right up in the top for service! Our Barcelona apartment was for sure the highlight of our Spanish adventure. We will return again and without hesitation rent from Miguel and his family. Close to attractions but some things were not correct for the price

The positive points were closeness to many of the tourist sites, available public transportation and the size of the accommodations. It was also an attractive apartment. The negatives were 1) street noise (including a woman signing outside on the street at 02:00, and a person above us stomping on the floor late at night), 2) there were more bedrooms than the rest of the accommodations supported (e.g. kitchen and sitting room were small and minimally equipped), 3) one shower door did not close nor did it drain properly so 3 baths turned into 2 baths and 4) the sewer was not properly vented so lots of noise erupted in the kitchen drain when flushing one toilet or taking a shower. . A couple minor points were that a very small, cheap coffee maker was provided but a reasonable coffee maker was not available since we did not ask of it in advance (we were expected to pay for a decent coffee maker). The same for a taxi to meet us at the airport - we had to ask for that well in advance. I asked 24 hrs prior to our arrival if the owner could arrange for a taxi to meet us and was told no since we did not do so long before. I expected a bit more in terms of furnishings and attitude for the price. We would not go back at the price we paid.

Respuesta del propietario: First thanks for your review. The flat is located at the center of Barcelona less than 5 min on foot to the major sightseeing’s of Barcelona. We refurbished the flat 2 years ago and we used the highest quality materials. We installed top quality soundproof windows. We are located at a real 5th floor. However Barcelona is a very vibrant city and sometimes-exterior noise can happen. We cannot do anything if a woman decides to sing at outside however its not the normal thing since the quarter is very quiet. Regarding the size of the kitchen, as its possible to see on the pictures, is huge. It’s the most important area of the apartment. We often do wine tastings with our guest or they hire our chef at home. We provide with 6 chairs and a table that seats 6 people. The kitchen has a center island and its equipped with the highest quality appliances. As for the coffee machine let me be accurate. We offer complimentary coffee and a regular coffee machine that works perfectly. What we offer as an extra option is a Nespresso machine with Nespresso coffee pellets. We also offer complementary fruit basket and a very nice bottle of Spanish wine. Regarding the showers we didn’t get any notice about the shower door. I just informed our maintenance team to check it and fix it ASAP. We truly apologize for that. Regarding the sewer there is no problem with it. For the master bedroom WC and shower we use a pump system. The machine of the pump system is located at the kitchen (perfectly covered by a very nice furniture). The noise that you heard was due to the pump not due to the sewer. As for the taxi I got the email at 1am (a few hours before your arrival) at that time I could not do anything to book the ca. We always get in contact a few weeks in advance to check for transportation and extra things needed such as pre stoking, tours and day trips. We didn’t receive any email or answer to our email. You should understand that at that time in the middle of the night the day I cant organize everything. We work with a serious taxi company and I call directly the owner and organize the pick-ups for our guest. We offer a top quality apartment. We dont have short cuts. All furniture, appliances, mattresses, pillows, bed cloths, towels, windows, solid wood floors are of the highest quality. We offer a top accommodation at a very reasonable price in the center of Barcelona just few steps to the major sightseeing’s. We hope to see you next time in Barcelona
