Excellent Unit

This unit was very nice there were only two of us but this place easily sleeps at least six. All the amenities were nice including the air conditioning in all the rooms. The living room unit was noisy. It was centrally located to the Recoleta (5 blocks) alot of shopping and eating places. The wifi is a little weak - dont plan on having more than 3 wifi devices on at the same time. Diego the building super was great helped alot. Best part is when the city shuts the electricity, the unit is in the first floor, so no elevator problems - in Bs As thats important.

Respuesta del propietario: Hello, Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed the property as much as we do. I noticed you stated there was an issue with 3 devices being connected at the same time. For clarity purposes....we installed our own router which does not have a limit on devices in any way shape or form. Some devices ( depending on set-up, model and age) may suffer connectivity issues. I want to assure you and anyone else that comes to our apartment we do not restrict the number of devices at all as we are SUPER data/device users ourselves. Electricity in BsAs can be tricky sometimes and especially when the temps get really hot. We have a new transformer that goes to the building just installed by the city which is to prevent any outages. To my knowledge we have not suffered any outages in the building as of late; some other buildings or business' may have due to older transformers not yet installed. Warmest regards Reuben

Very Dissapointed

This is marketed as a luxury apartment and that may have been the case when it was initial put on the rental market. However now it needs considerable TLC. (I have pictures to support my review). Upon arrival we were met by Diego (very helpful). The quality and condition of the linen is very poor they smelt bad and we had to request new linen for the upstairs bedroom, it looked as though someone had just stepped out of the bed as it was not even properly made, the sheets were the wrong size for the bed. The towels had bleach stains on and looked awful. We made a number of visits to the Launderette, we stayed for 14 days, as only one set of linen is available for each room; if anyone had been ill it would have been a big problem as their is no laundry facility in the apartment. Number of windows are cracked and paintwork needs to be fixed. There were water rings in the toilets and shower curtain had mold on it. Air conditioners are loud and seem to need replacing and the one in the main bedroom leaked badly, only one handset worked and the caretaker was aware of this. Patio was only cleaned two days before we left and a very poor job was done of it; we were told it was because it was going to rain; however we had no rain to speak of for the duration of our stay. Internet is slow and does not allow for use of the TV box at times. Paperwork required for this rental was onerous and, in my opinion, over the top. We had to place a substantial security deposit and pay for insurance. I cannot fathom what the insurance was for, certainly not the faded copies of the artwork. Refrigerator door opens the wrong way, this is a simple fix. I could go on and on in regard to the overall condition of this apartment; the best and only good thing I can mention is that the location was excellent.

Respuesta del propietario: Eira, clearly your review of our apartment is predicated on our booking requirements and our maintaining our booking policies despite your constant commentary of "why" we required damage protection, guest registration, rental agreements, verification of you and your guests and a security deposit which, obviously you didnt care for and still elected to book our property. Our process is clearly posted on all 3rd party sites and all follow up paperwork we sent you. Outlining each step we would take and that was needed to to complete your booking. Additonally, clearly you had different intentions for use of our property which you failed to disclose or make mention of. Yes, we run a professional operation and as such doing business with strangers online requires upfront disclosures and paperwork so there aren't any misunderstandings for either party or misuse of the property. Our apartment does have some minor flaws such as a cracked glass pane and possibly some missing bowls or plates. Internet service wasnt down once during your stay neither was any other service we offered including public utilities. However, your destructive criticism directed at causing harm is unwarranted. If you dont like requirements book another property. There are thousands of other available properties that will likely meet your needs and allow for little to no due process. Asking me to modify our process because you don't want to comply isn't a fault of ours if we choose not to make exceptions for you. We honored your booking request even though you maintained a nasty disposition and used fowl language with our emoloyees. We delivered the apartment to you as promised (clean, stocked, organized and as pictured). We ensured your access upon arrival (well after standard check in hours and didn't even charge you as a courtesy and to create goodwill). We answered all your negative emails and calls in exceptional time (all under 5 mins of your submission). If your expectations for an apartment rental for 5 people and guests at a $100.00 per night is to be a white glove service or that of a hotel...maybe private rentals aren't for you. I know for certain, we took extra care and time in explaining in detail our requirements, I personally made myself available to you each and every time you communicated with our team, during booking process and occupancy. We clearly overcommunicated all aspects of this booking because of tone and tenor initiated by you.

Nice place to spend 5 days in Buenos Aires

The apartment is situated on a central street in Recoleta, and is within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and the Subway (SUBTE) station. The building is typical of the area, tidy and well maintained. Prior to our arrival, we had received instructions on how to enter the building, operate the WiFi and other electronic devices plus were advised that the Building Manager (Diego) would meet us when we arrived. Diego was there on schedule and gave us an introductory tour of the apartment. During our stay, Reuben sent us a series of videos with further information on using the apartment.

The interior is nicely furnished and was very comfortable for our 5 day stay.

We cooked a few meals in the well stocked (with utensils) kitchen and found everything easily. The TV setup is internet based and has Netflix plus Hulu and other apps for TV.

We watched a few Netflix movies successfully, but found the TV options to be variable probably due to a slow Internet connection. However it worked well enough for us as we didn't go to Buenos Aires to watch TV. Public transport, plus the odd taxis, worked fine for us and the local Subway station (10 mins walk) provided a rapid and easy access to Downtown areas.

Overall I can recommend this apartment as a good value in a nice area close to all the BA action.

Beutiful .Centraly located

The property is centrally located in a beautiful upper class neighborhood. Apartment is comfortable and sleeps 5 people very well. Has a lot of light and owners are very accommodating. They even place a bottle of wine as a welcome gift!. I will definitely will recommend it to others.

I stayed in a beautiful apartment in La Recoleta Bs As with my family for the last holidays. Apartment very comfortable. Great air condition specially in a warm humid climate. Also very well located and bright. I will definitely will go back.

The experience was great even before we traveled: the paperwork was made easy by helpful and friendly staff, the price was fair and reasonable and the pictures and the videos were great. Once we got there, Diego was extremely helpful in setting us up, the place was clean and fully equipped, and one could not ask for a better location. All public transportation a short and very pleasant walk away, a fantastic and historic neighborhood full of personality and charm, lots of interesting shops and restaurants. Will more than happily repeat on our next trip to beautiful Buenos Aires.

La habitación principal tiene una cama de cuero extra grande blanca diseñador y puede ser separado del resto de la vivienda con el cierre de una puerta. También cuenta con piso a las puertas de techo y ventanas que se abren a la terraza ZEN privado con fuente de agua y chimenea. Las paredes también cuentan con obras de arte que se ha encargado especialmente para la habitación. Enorme piso a techo armarios personalizados sostendrá incluso los armarios más ambiciosos. Se accede a la segunda habitación abuhardillada a través de sus propias escaleras y cuenta con una cama de matrimonio con sus propios armarios personalizados. Es totalmente privado de la Master Suite y tiene pisos de madera cálidos. La propiedad cuenta con dos cuartos de baño de tamaño completo, magníficamente restaurado así que compartir no serán un problema. Cada habitación está lujosamente amueblada con sábanas de algodón egipcio y felpa, suaves toallas turcas. 1 persona adicional puede ser acomodado en el área de oficina con el cojín del doble de tamaño.
