Nice apartment close to everything

I stayed in this apartment with three friends, and we had a very nice trip to Nettuno. The apartment is close to everything. Restaurants, the beach and the train station are only a few minutes walk away. Our host Gabriele was very welcoming and flexible, and gave us good recommendations of restaurants and beaches and fun things to do in the area.

Nice stay in a purely Italian seaside town

First of all: Gabriele is a very friendly, welcoming, humorous and communicative host and, always reachable! Apartment: fully equipped with everything you can imagine and need, with comfortable bedrooms (we used the rear bedroom), with powerful A/C. Apartment is divided in two parts, suitable for up to two couples or a small family and are connected by a small balcony with lots of plants. In the evening one can smell the restaurant kitchen which is located in the ground floor, but this is neglectable. In the mornings we used to sit there, having the first coffee of the day - very nice :-) Parking: perfect! Location: it could not be more central, a stone's throw away from all amenities you need for your stay in Nettuno: supermarket, bars, cafes, restaurants... Train station is two blocks away with good connections to Rome. Just for the case you want to leave this a very relaxed place, because you long for crowds of tourists and want to be driven through the main attractions like in a herd of cattle. Even if it is Italy and the driving style of the Italians gives a different impression: they will stop for you at the pedestrian crossing (you definitely shouldn't try this in Rome!) :-). Beach: to the left and right of the marina there are privately operated beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas that have to be paid for, as well as kiosks and toilets. We didn't use these as we arrived by car and we brought our own beach equipment. We used the free public beach at the church for a couple of times, some seven hundred meters on the left when leaving the house. One disadvantage: while the privately operated beaches are cleaned, this one is littered (the City of Nettuno should maintain the beach at least once or twice a week with the same intensity as they do the roads and garbage collection every day.) Tipp for all car drivers: some twenty kms from Nettuno there's a wonderful clean and public beach, which stretches for twentyfive (!) kms between Prato di Coppola and Lungomare di Sabaudia. The roadside is the parking zone with parking ticket machines every few hundred meters. Caution: coins accepted only, no frills like payment by card, app etc., price depends on the day (weekends are more expensive), low price, half/whole day possible, keep enough coins ready before going there. The beach is just behind the dunes and accessible via short wooden stairs close to the parking ticket machines. In all: we had a very relaxing vacation! Grazie mille, Gabriele!

This property was perfect for us. It is the perfect location for someone new to Nettuno.

We had the best time during our short stay here and look forward to coming back for a longer visit. Gabrielle was so great to work with and provided us with all kinds of recommendations. All around the perfect stsy in every way.

Wonderful place and location

This is a great apartment in a perfect location. It has a nice view of the marina and several places for food and drinks right downstairs. The provided parking space allowed us to explore the surrounding area. Gabriele was a very helpful and responsive host.
