Chateau La Grande Etouble es una pequeña granja de piedra tradicional girondiana restaurada con cariño, con uso exclusivo de propietarios, piscina y viñedos. Puede acomodar entre 6, posiblemente 8 invitados, dependiendo de la dinámica de su grupo.
Propiedad Planta baja Hall de entrada, baño con ducha y WC, área de servicio pequeña + lavadora + nevera alta Cocina de la granja: bien equipada con nevera, congelador, lavavajillas, microondas, tostadora, hervidor de agua, etc. además de un montón de equipos de cocina y comodidades habituales. Habitación con TV satelital, reproductor de DVD, DVD, Wi-Fi, libros y juegos.
Primer piso (toda la ropa de cama es de primera calidad y cada cama tiene almohadas suaves y esponjosas y la ropa de cama de algodón egipcio blanco crujiente y gruesa + los adornos de colchón lo ayudan a mimar y ser muy especial). Little peace of heaven in the vineyards🍇

La Grande Etouble is a little peace of heaven in the middle of vineyards. Ben and Gill are the most thoughtful, kind and discrete hosts. We had a charming wine tour & tasting with our family. Everything is there to enjoy the holidays, badminton, tabletennis, petanque, the pool off course and different locations to have breakfast, lunch, aperitif or dinner. The plancha is ideal to grill fish, gamba’s, burgers and vegetables. The vine cellar(with honesty box)in the kitchen gives you an enormously privilaged feeling. And that is exactly the feeling we had during our stay, a sense of privilege. We had days we golden linings at La Grand Etouble. Thank you so much Ben and Gill. We wish you all the best and hope to come back soon!

Lovely home in a vineyard with warm and charming owners

Our experience in France was pleasantly enhanced by Gill and Ben, the owners of this property. In fact, they were the highlight of our vacation. They personally greeted us when we arrived and gave us great ideas and help during our stay. They live on the property caring for their vineyard and winery as well as their guests. We had them over for dinner and learned about their lives and how they came to owning this property and winery, a very fascinating and warm couple. They reciprocated by giving us a tour and winetasting with great appetizers. We ended our stay by going with them on a boat cruise, with more wine, food and music. What a great time! The house was fully furnished with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and cook some meals. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. The location was easy to find if you followed Gill's direction, and not GPS. The pool area was a bonus and we spent most evenings enjoying wine and appetizers by the pool. The location was great for the Bordeaux area, Bordeaux was less than 30 minutes away. We toured from Cape Ferret thru Saint Emilion. But we were in the beautiful vineyard countryside and not in a city.

Here at French Vineyard Vacations we really appreciate all the careful planning that goes into the research and booking of a holiday and we hope this shows throughout your holiday experience with us. We aim to match your expectations and hopefully often exceed them to ensure your holiday includes lots of your favourite things to do ( even if that's simply relaxing by the pool enjoying the peace and quiet). In brief, we offer a unique blend of tempting and desirable holiday ingredients which can be individually adapted to suit all tastes.
As yet, you won't find us with loads of reviews on trip advisor because this is our very first holiday season. Last year we followed our dream of owning a French vineyard and making our own wine (we'd already achieved this in the UK). After touring around France we believe we've found an idyllic location, just right for the perfect holiday. Not only is it situated within one of the world's finest wine regions, it's also surrounded with a really good balance of things to see and do.

Here at FVV we are very excited to announce we are very soon to become “Chateau Grande Etouble” because as from this year our vineyard will be re-producing it’s very own wine again. Ben is very happy to wander around our vineyard with you and chat about wine and its production. Please feel free to request a visit to a vineyard – local or further afield. We can either arrange a degustation for you or point you in the right direction for you to do this for yourself, whichever you prefer.
All in all we're very excited and looking forward to hearing from you - everything is freshly decorated and equipped and waiting for you.

We specialise in a more bespoke holiday experience, with luxury accommodation, located on our own vineyard with a cool, relaxing pool. Our guests can expect exclusive use of this pool throughout their stay.
We love our typically French farmhouse because it is so special, on the inside as well as the outside. We've taken lots of care in all the rooms, in particular the large kitchen - to ensure it's fully equipped, comfortably and homely. Other rooms like the bathrooms and bedrooms have also been given a lot of thought and attention. Towels and bedding are of top quality - because you are worth it. Our aim is you find our holiday retreat is well worth leaving the comforts of your own home for. Even more appealing is the fact this holiday rental is conveniently located on the world famous wine trails of the majestic Bordeaux wine region and can include optional wine tasting, wine tours, good food and lots of other tempting, interesting things to do. Another thing we love about our place is it's location - there's lots of amenities on our doorstep and even more only a short drive away.
Local Facilities
The holiday accommodation is located within the small village of St Ciers de Canesse, however our closest amenities can be found in the nearby village of Berson (2 kms). Here you’ll find the artisan Boulangerie (Bakery) which is filled with the fresh aroma of warm, fresh baguettes and croissants for a typical French breakfast treat. There is also a boulangerie in the village of St Ciers de Canesse . The village of Berson also has a small supermarket, a butchers, a Tabac (which doubles up as a bar) and a doctors, dentist and pharmacy. Our holiday rental also enjoys the benefit of being close to some great local, artisan Markets and plenty of food supermarkets.
