Esta propiedad está a sólo dos minutos de la primera y única, Palmilla Hotel, con su campo de Jack Nicklaus de 27 hoyos de clase mundial y su nueva zona comercial de Las Tiendas y restaurantes gourmet inmejorables. Westin Regina se encuentra a 5 minutos en coche.
La energía Costa Azul es contagiosa, con su surf de clase mundial, restaurantes y tiendas, a un corto paseo de cinco minutos.
Esta unidad se encuentra junto a El Hotel Bel Air, que tiene una cafetería y un bar. El servicio de taxi está cerca de su puerta. Al lado de esta propiedad se encuentra un nuevo restaurante orgánico, una cafetería y un pequeño supermercado. Paseo por la playa al restaurante del famoso cremallera en la playa de surf o pruebe comedor fusión y la música en Brisas. This was a family Christmas vacation to get away from the cold. We couldn't have been more pleasantly impressed with Henry and Martha's condo. There was more than enough room for our family. Oh, and the views were better than expected. We will definitely be going back to Los Cabos and hopefully able to utilize the condo again.
The condo is very nice, with tasteful decorating throughout. The beach and pool areas are excellent. We had a couple of glitches that were fixed immediately. For the money, you cannot beat the value here. We checked out many of the big resorts and some smaller ones as well, and we were very happy to return to the low key, casual atmosphere. This same type of unit with these accommodations and beachfront views at other resorts would be far more expensive. Never taken a shower and watched the waves crashing at the same time before now. Pictures are spot on. Would not hesitate to return. There is construction going on at a massive scale up and down the corridor, with a project also going on here, but it does not effect in any way the unit or the pool/beach areas. Shopping in downtown San Jose is 5 minutes drive. Costco is 15 minutes. Mega store is 2 minutes. Highly recommend Seven Seas Restaurant just 2 minutes away .Oh and by the way, we were told to just use taxis to get around. That got REAL old after one day. Rented a car and have no regrets ! ...
We stayed for a week in September at this beautiful 2 br/2 ba condo, right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable, the ac provided a nice oasis from the intense heat and humidity this time of year, and the large wrap-around deck was amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped, but we only bothered with light breakfasts and lunches at "home", and ate out for dinner. The surf is rough, not safe to swim, but the condo complex has two large pools, one adjacent to the G-unit, the other just a few steps beyond. There was an Oxxo store just out at the road for basics such as water, milk, eggs, etc, and a larger grocery (locally known as the "Mega") about a mile toward San Jose del Cabo. There were several bank ATMs in a nearby strip mall, along with a Starbucks and some really good restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the food and service at La Marea (The Tide, or Tides?). There's a bus stop right at the road to get to Cabo San Lucas, about 30 min and about 35 pesos per person, paid as you enter the bus, or about 600-650 pesos by taxi.
We walked into the San Jose del Cabo old town square a few times, about 3 mi/5 km one way, and really enjoyed the French Bakery restaurant there. We were there also for Mexican Independence Day, and enjoyed the festivities and fireworks in the town square.
Henry was very responsive to texts and email, and was very easy to work with. We chose to pay an additional fee to activate the in-condo laundry, and he was able to coordinate that on very short notice (external laundry service is available at I think 70 pesos/load).
We were very happy with the condo facilities and location, and would not hesitate to stay there on a return visit.
This condo is exactly as you see and everything you'd want! Very well equipped with everything you need. Decor is beautiful and the view can't be beat! The huge balcony is priceless. This is a very comfortable place to be! I liked the location as it's the best of both worlds - the peace and serenity of the San Jose end and a 30 minute bus ride to the nightlife of Cabo. We just returned (Aug. 10) and there are pros and cons to coming this time of year. Pros - In addition to great rates, we practically had the entire complex to ourselves! Only shared the pool with 4 other people on two occasions and no one on the beach except for a few passers-by! We literally saw about 15-20 people (except for workers) at the complex the whole time we were there. Loved that! However, the cons - Besides being crazy hot, it is also construction time since there are so few people there. We had some issues with that but tried to avoid it as best we could. However, when my aunt broke her shoulder and couldn't leave the condo, that wasn't an option. I contacted the owner and it was addressed immediately. (He wasn't aware of this ahead of time.) It stopped right away for the day. Very happy with his prompt action and how he took care of us. You won't go wrong renting from them! They were very responsive from beginning to end. I would come back again and highly recommend this condo!
The property was as described; spectacular views, terrific access to the beach and the property's two pools, well equipped kitchen, nice bedding and pillows and great working fans and air conditioning. The condo provides everything you will need to have a enjoyable stay. We also liked that there was a water jug dispenser in the unit with water already supplied.
The beach was very nice, clean and there were ample lounge chairs (for exclusive use by condo owners and/or guests) and two palapas, in case you wanted to be on the beach, but out of the sun. The waves were unusually very large (12-15 ft) during our stay, but we found them to be very beautiful. Manta Rays were jumping in close proximity to the beach during most of our stay, which provided additional entertainment while on the beach watching the waves and nearby surfers.
This property is nearer to San Jose, which is the quieter side of Los Cabos. San Lucas is much more festive and filled with tourist focused bars and restaurants. Also, most of the terrific golf courses are close to this property, so the furthest we had to travel to play golf was 30 minutes. Everything most people will need is a 5 to 10 minute car ride away (groceries, restaurants, gas). This property felt as if it were "centrally located".
The personnel hired to manage and secure the condominium complex were very professional and were quite diligent with their responsibilities/tasks. Rules are to be followed and this helps ensure that everyone can have a good time without fear that others who not as considerate will negatively impact one's desire for peace and relaxation. The other owners we met during our stay could not have been nicer and more hospitable. I think they appreciated the fact we respected their space.
There was some construction around the property (annual upkeep of the complex) during our stay, but it was not too big of a hindrance. The only challenge we had was trying to find the complex for the first time upon arrival as the construction by Hwy 1 made it hard to see where to enter. However, this was likely just a one-time situation.
The owners/managers were tremendous with their communication responsiveness whenever we had a question. This created even greater peace of mind during our stay. We would STRONGLY recommend this property by these owners. I do not expect this to be our last time back to the Los Cabos area and we will likely choose this location again, if available.
